Presence and Engagement
The Presence and Engagement report has laid out key challenges for the Church of England in equipping congregations and chaplaincies for faithful ministry and mission in multi Faith contexts. The Contextual Theology Centre is one of three key institutions across the country taking this process forward.

Greater London: The Presence and Engagement Network (PEN)
The Greater London Presence and Engagement Network (PEN) is an initiative of the four Anglican Dioceses which cover Greater London, under the umbrella of the Contextual Theology Centre. Its newly appointed Co-ordinator Susanne Mitchell will administer and develop the network in a way which facilitates relationships, shares information effectively, and identifies and addresses unmet educational needs for mission and ministry. This will include:
Having served as Administrator of the Anglican Communion Network for Inter-Faith Concerns and Administrator to the Theological Studies Department of the Anglican Communion Office, Susanne is well suited to her new role. Her experience of the worldwide communion has been combined with local engagement - as a licensed Reader in Southwark Diocese and a member of its Inter Faith Relations group.
